The difference between coil PCB and module PCB

2020-06-09

Coil PCB board: the circuit pattern is mainly winding, and the circuit board is replaced by an etched circuit to the traditional copper wire turns. It is mainly used in inductive components, and has a series of advantages such as measurement, high accuracy, good linearity, simple structure and so on.

Have you heard of modularity and program modules? The so-called module board is a set of units that can achieve a certain function. If these modules are individually made into boards, they will become module PCB boards. Both display boards and power boards can become module boards. For the air conditioner, there are AD / DA modules, clock modules, etc., which can be made into small boards and plugged into the main control board for application. In this way, if the power modules are the same for different specifications of air conditioners, you can use the same type of power board without redesigning and reducing costs.

In comparison, the coil PCB is more portable, and has a small size and light weight, with an openable coil, easy access, and a wide frequency range. From the drawing, there is a clear difference between the coil PCB and there are many windings like fingerprints.
